Personal tax preparation with a CPA who works directly with you.
Individual tax preparation covers accepted federal and permitted state income tax returns starting at $350. Exact jurisdictions, forms, scope, and fee are confirmed in writing before acceptance; return preparation does not include automatic year-end planning or a promised review call.
Tax season doesn't have to be stressful. At Monaco CPA, every individual tax return receives the attention to detail your finances deserve.
Accepted returns may cover W-2, freelance, self-employment, and other income sources. Recorded deductions and credits are reviewed under the applicable rules, but no deduction, credit, refund, or tax result is promised.
Tax planning is separate from return preparation and is provided only when included in an accepted written scope based on information the client supplies.
Cryptocurrency tax returns: Crypto records may include sales, exchanges, rewards, DeFi activity, NFTs, fees, transfers, and information returns. Tax treatment depends on what occurred; a wallet-to-wallet transfer of the same beneficially owned asset is not automatically a taxable disposition. Accepted crypto-return work is limited to the written scope and client-supplied records.
IRS notice boundary: Monaco CPA considers only ordinary, non-examination correspondence after separate written acceptance and prepares a client-submission package. Monaco CPA may contact the agency under a client-authorized power of attorney; examinations, appeals, collections, OIC, VDP, and willfulness matters require an independent tax-controversy specialist.
Share the basics through the contact form. Any response, availability, scope, and timing are confirmed only in writing; no call or consultation is promised.
Get StartedView PricingGreg has been quoted in Yahoo Finance and GOBankingRates on refund mechanics, withholding rules, and common filing surprises. Media commentary is not a promised refund or tax result.
Ordinary CP2000 and IRS or state correspondence-notice support may be considered only after intake and a separate written scope. It is not automatically included with tax preparation. Office, field, examination, collection, appeals, OIC, and VDP matters require an independent tax-controversy specialist.
Filing a straightforward W-2 return? Use the checklist to make sure you have all your W-2s, 1099-INTs, mortgage statements, and other documents ready before your appointment.
If you receive 1099-NEC income, work as an independent contractor, or run a sole proprietorship, an accepted written scope may include Schedule C and self-employment- tax reporting plus records-based classification of supplied home-office, vehicle, equipment, and professional-cost items. No completeness, deduction, or tax result is promised. Our reviewed tax resources explain general estimated-payment concepts. Any client-specific annual target or installment calculation requires current, supported inputs; the client tracks due dates and transmits payments, and timing, withholding, annualization, later income changes, and agency computations determine any underpayment interest.
The written engagement and intake instructions describe the expected steps from first contact through the accepted work; timing and steps may vary with the agreed scope and client-supplied information.
Submit the contact form for written intake review. Any response, availability, next steps, proposed scope, price, or timing is confirmed only in writing; submission promises no response, call, consultation, engagement, or outcome.
After a written engagement is accepted, use the document-exchange method identified in the written scope or later written instruction. Do not send tax documents or sensitive identifiers through the contact form.
Returns are prepared from the supplied records and presented through the agreed written review process; no review call is promised.
After the client authorizes filing, I e-file the accepted return. Any future-year planning requires a separate written scope.
Greg reviews written contact-form submissions. Any response, availability, scope, price, and timing are confirmed only in writing; submitting the form creates no engagement and promises no call, consultation, or outcome.
